Electrode maintenance

Your pH electrode requires care & attention, following these few simple tips will help to insure the longest possible life for your electrode.

1) On receipt of your electrode , condition it by soaking in tap water, or pH4 buffer solution for at least a few minutes.

2) Always store your electrode in a solution, preferably a specific storage solution, do not allow your electrode to become dry.

3) Rinse the electrode after use with tap water

4) Calibrate regularly

5) Do no expose to excessive heat

DO NOT USE DISTILLED (DE-IONISED) WATER FOR STORAGE PURPOSES
