Dishes - Glass based - Iwaki
Iwaki glass based dishes are made from a choice of a glass or quartz coverslip attached to the base of a 35mm polystyrene dish with non-toxic silicone adhesive.
The dishes are available with glass components of 27mm and 12mm diameters and are assured sterile by Gamma irradiation.
The glass or quartz area allows fluorescent measuring of live and dead cells con-focal laser microscope studies and observation of cells at higher magnification than that achievable through plastic dishes.
Higher transmittance and measurement of lower fluorescence can be achieved using the quartz based dishes.
