Mixer , Vortex
For rapid and efficient mixing. Creates a vortex in the tube which gives a highly effective mixing action far superior to hand shaking. Contamination from stirring rods and stoppers is eliminated and different samples may be subjected to the same degree of mixing, thus improving repeatability of resuts. The motor is energised when the tube is pressed against the rubber cup on top, which is particularly useful where repetitive mixing is undertaken or continuous at any chosen speed by a switch featured on the front. The unit also offers variable speed control ranging from a very slow, gentle mixing (ideal for applications where tissue or cell structure damage must be avoided) to a quite vigorous mixing. Accepts vessels up to 25mm diameter and offers good stability through a combination of weight and non-slip feet.
