Power supply, 'Economy'
A low cost power supply, ideal for the basic low voltage power requirements of an educational laboratory. Voltage steps from 2V to 12V are selected via a rotary switch and simple lockable selection knob that prevents unauthorised alteration above 6V. Up to 5A continuous output current may be drawn which is more than adequate for the majority of requirements. A push button circuit-breaker on the front panel gives protection against electrical overload. This eliminates the cost and inconvenience of replacing fuses.
Technical specification:
Output voltage:
2,4,6,8,12V a.c. steps (nominal no load voltage at 240V input)
2,4,6,8,12V d.c. steps (full wave rectified)
Switch protection with tamper-proof feature.
Output current: 5A continuous rating on a.c. or d.c. Both a.c. and d.c. outputs are available simultaneously and are isolated from mains earth.
Output connections: Separate a.c. and d.c. screw/socket terminals at 19mm pitch allow 4mm plugs or bared wires to be used for connection
Electrical protection: Output overload (push-button reset) mains-2.5A fuse (20mm)
Mains input: 210 - 250V, 50/60Hz
